One of the problems when you write for this market is that a lot of clients want their articles stuffed with keywords and this is not best practice when it comes to seo

Keyword Density
If you are trying to especially Google, then stuffing an article with keywords is not the answer. A lot of articles contain 2percent keyword density so if you are writing a five hundred word article that keyword whould be mentioned ten times. My regular gig is less than half that and they do a lot of business - so articles that have the main keyword at the beginning of the article,
once in the middle of the article, and again right at the end. Secondary keywords go in about 5 times. Many seo writers also use the long tail, which involves splitting a keyword phrase, finding synonyms for a keyword phrase and then mentioning them a couple of times throughout the article.

The above tactics make the writing more search engine friendly, more in line with how search engines read text, and more likely to get higher traffic as people often use different search terms for the same service or product. It's a good idea to practise these things in your own work as writing seo content
can get you a higher rate than other types of writing.
I have been through this and what I have discovered is that it is not so much an inability to write as a resistance to getting started on some writing tasks. There are, however, some ways round this.

Take It A Step At A Time

If you are faced with a writing job and you just can't seem to get started then try using a kitchen timer. Set the timer for five minutes and start writing, I usually find that gets me over the worst of it and I can then get on with the job.

There are times however, when trying something a bit at a time just doesn't work, that's when you have to decide whether or not you are going to continue with the job or go and do something else for a while. If you still can't face it when you get back then maybe you shouldn't have taken the job on in the first place. The only way through this is to grit your teeth, write the stuff, and don't offer to write that type of content again and try to remind yourself just why you do write.
For several weeks I was without a computer and that really did make life difficult. Once the new computer was set up I spent some time updating my website. Now I am back to blogging again and a big hallo to my friends.

Christmas was a bit tough as it was the first Christmas since my oldest son died in May but now I am trying to get on with the new year. Writing work has been coming in and for anyone who is interested it is worth checking out digitalpoint forums because they sometimes have people looking to have articles written - found a new client on there just recently. Other than that I have been writing articles on property, conservatories, lingerie and wind chimes, you name it and I have probably researched and written it the last month or so. Anyway a belated happy new year to everyone but especially my friends on here.

1. Make sure you understand the brief and stick to it.
2. Always submit work by the stated deadline.
3. If you do have a problem notify the client straight away to say
how long you expect to be.
4. Don't leave it til the last minute to do this other than in the most
extreme emergencies.
5. Always proofread your work and never ever copy and paste from
somewhere else

These things are not a guarantee of further writing jobs but they will go a long way towards it. In the meantime happy writing and you may want to check this out .

Unfortunately other people don't seem to understand, or won't accept that just because you are at home does not mean you are available to perform favours or to entertain guests.

Just lately I have also taken to putting the answerphone on and only answering those calls that really need my time. At the moment I have a stack of work to get through and not enough time to do it. This has not been helped by people who do not understand that working from home is still working

If you write well and can write fast then there are plenty of jobs to be had writing web content.

Many website owners need content for their sites but do either not have the time or the skills to write their own content, so they pay others to do it for them. I have been writing web content now for about a year and if you can type more than thirty words a minute then you can make it pay. Try doing a websearch for freelance writing or webcontent writers if that's what you might like to do.

Is it for yourself, for your family, for a publisher or for your readers? I think that many of us write for all these reasons, and also because we feel the need to write.

Writing is a way of getting the thoughts out of our head and onto paper, it's a good way of dealing with things that frighten us or excite us - it's also a way of communicating our thoughts to others. I am constantly surprised by writing and by the changes it can bring about in our lives. Do you ever ask yourself why you write?

However, what I have found is that if you can write through the tough periods, get them down in your journal, metaphorically tear your hair out with a pen or keyboard, it helps.

Writing is a fun occupation which is sometimes hard and sometimes tough, but it can also be a way of putting the wrong things right. So next time you feel like crying buckets or thumping the milk man, try writing about it. You might come up with a winning poem about morose milk men, who knows!
